Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. was founded January 1, 2014 in Covington, TN. The founders of Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc. envisioned a sorority determined to serve the veteran community and support its members through continued guidance, development and sisterhood. What sets Alpha Gamma Xi apart from other organizations is the dedication to serve to the community at large, the veteran community, and the continued dedication of its members to commit to the programs and initiatives set forth by the founders.
The Mission
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority, Inc. mission: To be the premier Sorority offering membership to current and past women of the armed forces. To provide programs and initiatives to these women so they can assist in accomplishing the vision of Service, Sisterhood, Stewardship, Scholarship and Solidarity.
Alpha Gamma Xi Sorority Inc., strives to be trailblazers in our military community with our veteran initiative SHERO, Sorors Helping to Excel and Restore Others. To develop women who will enrich their community and the lives of others. To foster an environment of shared understanding, goals and expectations.
